DETANGLING DRUM EWT

The MAFU detangling drum – EWT is a system that is mainly used for detangling and pre-sorting of parts as e.g. springs, bent wire parts, rings and so on.

Its technical principle allows the MAFU detangling drum – EWT either to be combined with a wide range of feeders, separation tools and dispensing tools or to be processed as stand-alone solution for upgrading manual workplaces.

Detangling Drum
Integration example Type EWT 300

This fully automatic MAFU device is an economically highly interesting solution for detangling and assembling springs with open legs for the production of disposable injectors in the medical technology. The device offers cycle times of 2 seconds, and is thus a high performance system.

Pre-detangling:
The tangled springs are pre-detangled in the MAFU detangling drum – EWT and after that, the feeding line is equipped with springs.

Position control:
In case of incorrect position of the springs, a high-speed handling with rotary gripper aligns the leg spring with the open end and thus processes both preferred positions.

Feeding and alignment to the assembly table:
Through a coiled 90° arc segment the springs get in a turntable for being assembled
