DETANGLING SYSTEM Twister

The MAFU – Twister is a detangling system that was specially developed for 100% detangling and sorting of bulk materials such a springs or bent wire parts. Its technical principle enables the MAFU twister to be combined with a wide variety of feeders and also separation and delivery variants. Even multiple track feeders with 100% detangling of the parts can be realised with the MAFU – Twister.

  • For springs from Ø 0.8 mm to Ø 4.0 mm
  • With a spring length from 2.5 to 15.0 mm
  • Inner diameter detangling chamber MAFU – Twister small: approx. 150 mm 
  • Detangling of strongly interlocked cylinder springs by the MAFU – Twister small in combination with the MAFU drum feeder
  • Recognition and transfer of the strongly interlocked springs into the MAFU – Twister small
  • After being detangled, the springs will be re-transferred into the MAFU – drum feeder
  • The separated springs are blown further through a customized feeding tube 
  • Performance: 50 parts per minute
  • Application: contact spring in the electronic environment

  • For springs from Ø 5.0 mm to Ø 12.0 mm
  • With a spring length from 10.0 to 40.0 mm
  • Inner diameter detangling chamber MAFU – Twister big: approx. 350 mm 
  • Detangling of strongly interlocked barrel springs by the MAFU – Twister big in combination with the MAFU drum feeder
  • Recognition and transfer of the strongly interlocked springs into the MAFU – Twister small
  • After being detangled, the springs will be re-transferred into the MAFU – drum feeder
  • The separated springs are blown further through a customized feeding tube 
  • Performance: 65 parts per minute
  • Application: feeding to the spring grinding machine for spring production
